Texas Law Shield is sponsoring two upcoming entertainment events at the Redneck Country Club, Charlie Robison on Saturday, June 3, and Ted Nugent on Thursday, July 6.

Charlie Robison grew up in the small scenic town of Bandera in the Texas Hill Country, where his family has ranched for eight generations. After discovering the thriving music scene in nearby Austin at age 15, Robison began writing his own material, drawing equal influence from rock and country; stints in the bands Chaparral and Two Hoots & a Holler followed, and he also joined the Millionaire Playboys, an all-star Austin ensemble.

After contributing to albums from Alejandro Escovedo and Kelly Willis, Robison made his solo debut in 1995 with “Bandera”; “Life of the Party” followed three years later. Teaming up with his younger brother, Bruce, and fellow Texan Jack Ingram, in 2000 the trio released the appropriately named “Unleashed Live.” A second studio effort, “Step Right Up,” was issued in spring 2001.

Texas Law Shield is also the presenting sponsor for Ted Nugent’s big show at the RCC on July 6.

To millions of music lovers, Nugent has carved a permanent place in rock and roll history as the guitar-shredding showman, selling more than 40 million albums, performing more than 6,400 high-octane concerts, and continuing to set attendance records at venues around the globe.

From the ground breaking Amboy Dukes’ hit “Journey to the Center of the Mind”, to classics like “Stranglehold” and “Cat Scratch Fever”, Damn Yankees chartbuster “High Enough,” and cult classic “Fred Bear”, Ted’s no-holds barred career spans five decades, and has been featured on A&E’s Biography and on VH1’s Behind the Music.

Named Detroit’s greatest guitar player of all time by readers of MLive!, Nugent performed for 55,000 marines, sailors and families at Camp Pendleton’s Rockin’ the Corps, was honored to join fellow musician Toby Keith on a USO Tour of the Persian Gulf, and has donated in excess of 6000 concerts and backstage passes to individual troops stateside.

To millions of citizens, Nugent is the nation’s most outspoken proponent of our first and second Amendment rights, conducting thousands of pro-gun, pro-freedom, pro-America interviews in major media worldwide.

Nugent is dedicated to preserving our great outdoor heritage for future generations, and along with wife Shemane, regularly hosts hunts for sick and terminally ill children with Hunt of a Lifetime, Hunt for a Cure, and via his own Kamp for Kids. A recipient of myriad commendations from state police, sheriff departments, FBI and police agencies, Nugent has been lauded for his Freedom’s Angels Foundation benefitting our troops, along with work as a national spokesman for D.A.R.E., Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Pass It On Outdoor Mentors Program.

According to the RCC, tickets for Ted Nugent’s concert are almost sold out. Buy them HERE.

The Redneck Country Club is located near W. Airport and 59, in Stafford, about 15 minutes from the Galleria.  Just take 59 South, just outside the Beltway.  The address is 11110 W Airport.  The place is a lot of fun.  Don’t think of it as a “bar”, think of it as a country club.  Veterans are honored, and marriage is celebrated.  They announce that from the stage.  They end the night with Amazing Grace, where folks hold hands and sing along.

If you don’t like live music, that’s okay.  The covered outdoor area has picnic tables and flat screen TV’s where you can watch live sporting events, enjoy a good cigar or just talk.  They have Firepits where folks who don’t wanna be inside gather, kick up their boots, and tell stories around a vintage replica of the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard.

If you wanna enjoy the night and not drive home, there are several hotels in the area at a reasonable rate. Courtyard by Marriott in Stafford is about a mile away, and they offer a rate to Redneck Country Club members when available. Just give them a call at (281) 491-7700 and ask for Daffney.

We look forward to enjoying an evening with you to say thank you for your support of Texas Law Shield.

Oh, and worried you’re not a “Redneck”?  Don’t be.  It’s all in good fun.  Everyone is welcome, and you’ll see a cross-section of our community there.  If you hold the door open for a lady, and honor our Veterans, you’re a Redneck for the evening.
